link textThe soln to this is to turn the nouveau driver modesettings and
leave things up to the Intel board.
To do that, you need to edit the /etc/default/grub and add
nouveau.modeset=0 to the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX
so it looks like this: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="nouveau.modeset=0"
Once done, just run up
I did that with yesterday's Ubuntu 17.10 live image and it did boot.
Q: Does that mean the acceleration is done by the Intel board instead?
