i went to the ati website and tried they're drivers but it said all they had
was the x-86 and the x-86_64. Niether one would let me install them both opened
with the Gedit program and said "Could not open the file" "gedit has not been
able to detect the character coding. please check that you ar
not sure of the driver at the moment because i just started using ubuntu
and im clueless about how to use it but... the video card is a radeon
9550 256mb video card... i'll try updating the drivers and see if that
will fix the problem if not i'll send another reply letting you know
