What happens if you go to /etc/default/bluetooth and change
HID2HCI_ENABLED=1 to HID2HCI_ENABLED=0?
That solved the problem for me. I haven't hade to re-pair my devices
since.

I was sort of able to resolve this issue, although it is far from
