The FIXMBR command in the windows recovery console will *REMOVE* grub,
and restore the Windows boot loader. Since you deleted Ubuntu I
assume your goal is to not have it any longer, and return to a pure
Windows system. If you are still having trouble
I tried both of them ( separately and together) All I got then was a

I tried that and now there is no Linux grub or windows boot page. Do I
need to specify a location for the windows boot page?
