My workaround was similar to Nicolas'. Instead of uninstalling-
reinstalling, I just did:
sudo rm /usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/imageconverter.desktop~
(there were some error messages from dpkg-divert being unable to
overwrite it). I then did a `dpkg --reconfigure -a` to configure
everyt
A workaround for me was to remove konq-kim before the upgrade.
But while installing it back again in feisty, there was a conflict with
a file, I just had to do:
cd /usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/
sudo mv ./imageconverter.desktop ./imageconverter.desktop.bak
