I don't want to install an alpha version on my machine therefore I've tried with USB boot stick instead using 13.10 and 14.01 (trusty-desktop-i386.iso04-Jan-2014 07:51 ). Both fails on exactly the same line when booting without the splash screen. "firewire_ohci failed to set power leve
