Indeed it is the same bug, can you please try the xserver-xorg-video-
intel from oneiric-proposed and mention on the bug report this is

Indeed there was something in Xorg.log
Seems to be X problem, no hint to eog.
Eog seems to be only program that triggers this crash.
Attached relevant section from crashing process instance log (last
