Philip Muškovac, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from

This affects me to. I'm running a new install of 12.04 with gnome-
session-fallback on an AMD computer with a nvidia GT240 graphics card.
I have not yet established if specific applications are causing this
bug.
Syslog output from the point of the crash untill power off:
Jul 10 05:57:17 GA-990XA
It seems the NVidia GT240 is prone to the error too. I tried both the
64-bit regular Ubuntu 12.10 and KXstudio 64 bit 12.04 and both failed
with the error.

I just got this crash. I have GT215 based nvidia card too. This card is
notorious for crashing with Nouveau. I got the crash 7 minutes after
installing 12.10, while I was installing the first updates. I hadn't
installed any extra software and nothing was running except for the

@aaron Maybe you could provide current versions of each?
