Hi,
as asked I tryed to boot, according to the wiki. Since the system hangs
completely, I could not create a log-file. I did take a picture with my camera
though.

bartje, it would be good to test the kernel in comment #3 only to sort
out if this bug is the same as bug 961482, in this case this would be a
duplicate and we could mark it as such.
rod_h, your bug must be a different problem since -19 fixed the problem
for bartje, please open a new bug to avoid
Upgrading to 3.0.0-19 did solve the problem for me though. I'm sorry,
really had no time to test the kernal as asked yet. Would it still be
necessary, since the -19 now is used?
