Seems to be solved in the final release of Xubuntu 12.04 - the education
menu now uses the applications-science icon.

Even though the education icon may not be in the standard theme,
changing the config file does make it look better than having two,
duplicate 'accessories' style icons.

Thanks for the quick response. The bug did not exist in Xubuntu 11.10,
as shown by the screenshot. When the config file is changed in Xubuntu
11.10 (to applications-education) the icon changes to an education icon,
perhaps taking it from another theme.

Thanks for reporting this! However, it's not Xubuntu's artwork that has
to do with this file, it's coming in from gnome-menus, which I set as
affects now.
