I get the error ("Error invoking tracker.next_finish..."), too. But it
doesn't occur if I wait after each typed letter till thumbnails are
loaded.
Can you confirm this?

Hi Jeremy I have problems on four distints machines.
I have rebooted , purged all tracker packages and all .* folders,
reinstaled and waited for tracker reindex, rebooted again...
And nothing worked.
I don't know if is relevant but i have a lot of files indexed by
tracker...
Two times in my
Search in gnome-documents works here (although it is slow). Have you
tried rebooting after installing Documents?
