If IE7 doesn't help, you should be able login with Picase 3.8 (if you
don't need v.3.9's new features) which can be downloaded from here:

Thanks for the details. I've linked the upstream report to this bug too.
The Wine AppDB suggests that the login would work with IE7 installed.
