Thanks for the info.
Unless I'm missing (entirely possible) where you've accounted for this,
the fact that disk errors only happen when kvm is running could still be
due to bad sectors only getting hit by the kvm disk.
Could you try cloning your VM's disk image and running from the cloned
image?

I have tested it the whole day.
Everytime when I indroduce high harddrive traffic in a qemu-kvm
guest(uck or remastersys running) the ata1 entries occures in the host
kernel.log and when I ignore them, sooner or later not only the guest
get frozen, also th

The disk errors occure in a more widly sense than only with qemu-kvm.
