The cube plugin in Gutsy now has an option to have one-large-cube for
multiple monitors (In compizconfig-settings-manager). Marking as fix
released. If you believe this bug has not been fixed, please feel free
to reopen it with more information.

I have the same issue with dual monitors+compiz. Beryl handles this
correctly making one large cube.
