I have the same problem
After uninstalling and re-installing it ...i can't make it again to
work...
sudo service powernap start
start: Job failed to start
sudo service powernap restart
restart: Unknown instance:
kernel log

Just wanted to update the ticket, after the last install I've rebooted
and had powernap working like a dream, the porcess IO monitor is a
greate addition for NFS monitoring.
This i guess cn be closed but i can't seem to find the way to do it.

Hi,
i can't do that as the service doesn;t start and there is no powernap.log /.err
in var/log as it fails to start at boot.
The only way to start it is to remove it, which i have done in an effort to
start it.
I'll update when it fails.

Can you please enable DEBUG=3 in /etc/powernap/config, try to restart
the daemon and paste the output of /var/log/powernap.log and
/var/log/powernap.err
