This is related to Bug #16724, and maybe building from source with the
--with-gnome-print option would sort this out.
In 0.44-1ubuntu1 on Edgy, you do get "| lp" by default, so at least it
is fixed there in that sense.

Oddly enough, it works without the pipe, but you have to use `lpr -P
""' if there isn't a default printer. Wouldn't
it be nice if it used CUPS?
