Currently, I can't reproduce. The original issue was found using a guest
account using DejaDup. Repeating on my machine (11.10), ubuntu-sso-client logs
in fine in Guest and my user accounts, with 2 factor required on my SSO
account. Will try on Precise shortly.

Ubuntu SSO client cannot handl
As discussed with Stuart Metcalfe, since the current API is to be
deprecated, there is no planned work on extending it right now. As long
as existing users of these apps are not forced to use 2-factor auth this
is not a problem. A complete solution will be provided eventually.

Hello Michael,
Thanks for reporting this! I will research if the SSO rest api has
support for this, and if so, I guess we'll have to evaluate adding this
to our roadmap.
In any case, I will mark this as wishlist since we have no current plans
of working on this, and I guess you can tweak your SSO
