It happened to me when I have added a ppa (ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp),
tried to update, and it mentions that gimp can't be installed (I think
is because the package has wrong dependencies), and then I pushed
Configure button ("Configuración...") and deleted the ppa entries in
Software Origin ("Or
