so I just upgraded to 12.04 this past week, and now I am seeing this issue. I have removed network-manager-kde and installed the Wicd as I saw in another post and this did not resolve. I'm also affected by this bug. After upgrading to precise, my laptop keeps asking for password when connecting to a previously saved EAP network. Trying to edit this network resulted in the error described in the bug. I haven't had problems connecting or editing WPA networks. -- You received this

Simmilar for me: It only appers with Ubuntu 12.04 Beta. But it would be really announing if this bug would ship out with 12.04 LTS. The bug does not apply on all wireless connections. For me the connection was a "eduroam" network (roaming network in the education and research area in whole German
