Public bug reported: Following install of Lubuntu precise.desktop.powerpc.iso 21020308 on eMac G4 800Mhz and after applying current updates via Update Manager, Network Connections was no longer listed in Preferences.
During the update some elements did not update: The following packages have been kept back: gconf-service gconf2 gconf2-common libgconf-2-4 libgconf2-4 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 5 not upgraded. Since then, those updates have been applied, but Network Connections is still missing from Preferences.
