Im on a fresh install of 12.04 and the chromium-browser frm the repo
(Version 20.0.1132.47 Ubuntu 12.04 (144678))
I'm having this same behavior. Click icon... pulsation then nothing,
usually the second attempt works but never the first.

Just wanted to add that I haven't seen the problem occur for a while and hasn't
happened at all since the 12.04 release.
If others can confirm then it should be safe to close the report.

Same here. My system was updated from 11.10 to 12.04 Beta 2. I find if I
don't launch chromium-browser for a while (say 5 mins+), and then I
launch it from the launcher, nothing happens, it just pulsates the icon
and gives up.
Opening in terminal shows only "Segmentation fault".
I can fix it by r

Should point out that the output automatically added by ubuntu-bug was
sent after upgrading from the chromium-daily PPA so the information
provided is from that version, not the one in the ubuntu repositories.
