Trust me, installing fglrx also causes crash and that too frequently.
Seeing so I installed open-source Radeon driver. The problem is
something else. I don't have much knowledge otherwise I could debug
more.

Your Xorg log looks like you're using the open-source Radeon driver, not
Fglrx.

"XID Collision" has something to do with flash or javascript when I open

Hi Bryce,
Thanks for looking into this issue.
After getting so many system crashes I reverted back to Ubuntu 10.04 ,in
fear of getting my hard disk corrupted, where this issue not there. I
use default driver (no fglrx) and the system is quite stable. If you
want I can give you logs or information
Wonder if this is just the Xv crash bug in 8.911.
Alberto uploaded a new fglrx 8.960 to precise today. We don't have a
changelog from ATI on this so don't know exactly what bugs got fixed.
Would you mind updating to this driver and re-testing for this bug, to
see if it's fixed now?
