Not sure what happend, but it appears to be fixed. I downloaded the
updates this morning and I hooked my computer up to the TV to listen to
music and bam it worked!

Yeah, I did some research on the overscan. I happend to run into an
article with someone else who has the same issues with a Phillps HDTV
and Ubuntu.

It could just be TV overscan. But the regression aspect is interesting.
Boot a 11.10 livecd, set to not mirrored, and then collect 'xrandr
--verbose' and add as an attachment to this bug report, for comparison
purposes. Also grab the /var/log/Xorg.0.log and attach that as well.

Okay, I booted from my beta 12.04 CD. The splash logo is perfectly fine,
but once it gets to the loading screen it has borders on each end of the
TV. I can uncheck the Mirror Display to somewhat fix the problem, it is
just too big. The Unity Bar is barely visible, and I can't even see the
