This definately is not a "lower spec" - only problem. I am using Ubuntu
12.04 on my Athlon II x64 3x system with 4GB DDR3 RAM, and I have the

begin having this issue was running Virtualbox. I removed the

"background" (behind the lightdm dots) fades in. While only the dots are
