How did you install the banshee-official-plugins? From source? From an
Ubuntu package [and if so, what version]? From a Debian package [and if
so, what version]? From a third party package? Etc.

The banshee package already conflicts/replaces the banshee-official-
plugins package (version < 0.11.4). This means that banshee should
automatically replace the old package, which is your problem. How did
you install the banshee-official-plugins?

I'm having the same problem with banshee 0.12.0+dfsg-1ubuntu1 on Feisty
beta.
