instead of a picture could you look for a crash file including the name
gtk-window-decorator in /var/crash directory and double click that file
to report a bug that have real crash logs?

If after the call the decoration has crashed and I run unity --reset it
reappears indeed. However, after the next call it will crash again, so
this is no permanent solution.
I'll record a video next time: pictures or it didn't happen, eh?
