Likely fixed in a newer version of the ddclient package. Please reopen
if that is not the case.

It looks like there is a problem with your cache. Either ddclient can't
create the cache (does the parent directory exists? are the rights set
correctly?) or the cache file gets deleted. Try to use the verbose
option or check the logging.
