Since this is now a wishlist item let me add to the above.
In addition to the problem with download not able to be cancelled, the
really frustrating aspect is that the application is completely frozen
waiting for all 1256 previews to download. This is bad design.

This is so bloody irresponsible and irritating. I can't see how many kbs
its using, it doesn't show up in the system monitor, and I can't kill it
or quit. Wasting my capped bandwidth!!
