- synaptic does not crash anymore: have tested many times with/without
additional ppas, and the list is updated quickly
- so it really seems a dupe of bug #936677

just installed the latest 0.75.5 and i've not got new crash then, but as
it was random crashes previously, so i'm waiting a while before
confirming it really fix also #936677. Will report back later for
confirmation.

Thanks for your updates. Please make sure that you use "0.75.5" in
precise, it got synced on sunday so it may not be available on your
mirror yet but it is there on archive.ubuntu.com. Its most likely a dupe
of bug #936677.
