This is not a bug. tmux does not support bce as stated by its author
below. Check your TERM and make sure it is a screen variant that does
not advertise BCE.

I've attached a screenshot of `htop` running within tmux v1.6. You'll
notice the CPU usage bars aren't being erased due to

If the terminal emulator (Terminator in this case) is showing proper
transparency, then transparency in MOCP can be achieved with:
mocp -T transparent-background
I do not recall this being necessary before under screen, but now it is
required under screen too for proper transparency. I will have
