I have just upgraded to latest version but this problem persist.
I encounter this issue only with my Windows Live Messenger account.
Gtalk account work properly.
I have attached the telepathy-gabble debug log file.

for a specific type of accounts (jabber, aim, gchat, YIM etc..) or all of them?
Since this bug report, there has been an upgrade in Ubuntu. Since there are
newer packages, please upgrade and test those out and let us
