Sorry for the delay. I just reinstalled the final 12.04 lts release and this bug is unchanged. I tried the mailline kernels (3.3.0 3.3.7 3.4rc6), but none booted (kernel panic with no init found in text mode). I will now use the above workaround. Any aditinal information needed? ** Tags removed

Its disapointing that this bug still remains in 12.04 beta and so propably will remain the next years in a lts release. Many Asus notebook series with USB3 chip will so crash when the users try tu suspend. Anyways, i forgot the last command for te workaround: -- sudo chmod +x /etc/pm/sleep.d/20_c
