Sorry. forgot that I tried it this time with the x64-variant and installed x32
kernels... noob
I recheked it with 3.4 3.3.7 and 3.3rc1 and it fixed since 3.3.7 or earlier,
but not in 3.3rc1.

I just reinstalled the final 12.04 lts release and this bug is unchanged. I
tried the mailline kernels (3.3.0 3.3.7 3.4rc6), but none booted (kernel panic
with no init found in text mode). I will now use the above workaround. Any

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.3 kernel[1] (Not a kernel in the daily directory). Once you've
tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing'

Suspend craches on Asus X54H (K54L/A54H) with USB3

Its disapointing that this bug still remains in 12.04 beta and so
propably will remain the next years in a lts release. Many Asus notebook
series with USB3 chip will so crash when the users try tu suspend.
Anyways, i forgot the last command for te workaround:
