build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/lightdm-gtk-greeter/1.1.5-0ubuntu1.1 in a few hours, and then in the
-proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this

Yes, I'd appreciate that if you don't mind (not that I'm sure I'll be
able/have enough time to maintain it properly, but at least I can commit
bugfixes when you can't). Thanks.
(anyway I'll check with the other "users" of this greeter, e.g. lubuntu
and ubuntu-studio, too).

I think the current code behaves incorrectly when the font name contains
spaces. The attached patch works for me.
