Please recompile amarok with it's own crash handler disabled. apport is
[almost] working now. I hate to see this kmail window.

I agree. Ubuntu is working on a program called apport that intercepts
crashes and sends them to launchpad. That's a great improvement over
the kmail requirement that currently seems to exist. Since Amarok is in
the Qt3->Qt4 transition now, this probably won't be able to be addressed
for a few mo
