Sergio Rubio, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/cur
I wish I could but all I have is this MBA which is my production laptop
right now, so reinstalling is not an option...
I may give it a shot in a few weeks though.

this bug. But unfortunately, I failed to reproduce that with either
stock 12.04 or upgrading from stock 11.10 to 12.04.
Could you please try to install a fresh Ubuntu from livecd and reproduce

I think I am experiencing this bug though I am using a MacBookAit 4,2.
The keyboard works well when I am typing my password to login. They
first key presses work after login, but they become unreliable. My
touchpad does not work either. I think trying to use the touchpad make

I tried 3.2.1-030201 and it resolves the issue perfectly. In fact,

inserting an external USB keyboard? E.g. you can ssh to it and run the
command. I'm wondering there's something wrong with your udev rules.
BTW, I recommend you install a fresh stock Ubuntu Precise from ISO
instead of upgrading
Unfortunately the bug is still present here. Still have to plug-in the
little USB thingie before booting to have a usable keyboard.

Not sure if that helps, but booting 3.2.0-8.14 with a Logitech
Unifiying USB Receiver attached fixes the issue. After booting I can
remove the receiver and everything works Ok so far. That's the reason I
got it working when posted comment #35.
