Mathieu is correct. The SCSI output will be given by default if you just
leave away the -I parameter.
Just make sure your device is not yet mode-switched at the moment you
run the command.

I think what you'll want to do is instead call usb_modeswitch without
-I; to allow SCSI inquiry to be done. Maybe replacing -I with -W (or
--verbose) will help debugging this.
