Hi Martina, Try changing the default sample rate and that should solve the Mickey Mouse voice. For me too, sometimes it would work OK before I defined the default rate, but sometimes it would Mickey Mouse. Once I defined the default rate, the Mickey Mouse problem was solved. The trouble is that

Hi Michael, The bit I wrote about changing the default sample rate completely solves the Mickey Mouse voice which you are suffering from. When I saw this I decided to buy the webcam, but I think that was a mistake. I had a simple webcam for 1/3 of the price which worked fine every time. A friend

I have the exact same problem. Sometimes skype will work and sometimes it will not. I get what appears to be a bad sampling rate in that people hear my speech compressed on 90% of the test calls; it sounds like Helium voice and is compressed in time; a ten second message comes across in 3 or 4 seco
