I don't see how

relevant in this case -- the bug appears to be that suspend never gets
triggered at all, not that it fails.
I tried running "apport-collect -p linux 886629", but it failed with the
error message below. I guess it does
I'm still seeing this with Lubuntu 12.04.

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could

I'd like to add that this bug is more than just an annoyance: if the
user doesn't notice, the laptop might continue to run when stored inside
a bag and overheat to dangerous levels.

Also affects me on a Thinkpad X220 running Oneiric.
The setting for "When the lid is closed / When plugged in" is "Nothing".
Where is this setting stored? I couldn't find it in dconf nor in gconf.
