Ah, that's unfortunate that the problem remains. I've been unable to reproduce
this on both my laptop and a virtualbox installation, so it looks like this
problem may be somewhat specific to your hardware and/or software
configuration. Hopefully someone else comes along who is also experiencing

The problem crept up again a few days ago (maybe once and within a small time
span of 5 minutes, but it did reappear), despite the work-around. So, I guess
it's not the same bug as Bug 839164.
I'm disabling the workaround.

Thanks for your quick response.
I've never encountered it in full screen mode, but then again I hardly
ever use it. Regardless, I assume that the behavior I mention would
manifest itself in the same way in full screen mode.

documented, however. Could you please take a look at Bug 839164 and see
if it sounds similar to your problem? If it does I'll go ahead and mark
this as a duplicate of that bug.
