I confirm this bug as well, in my case the input - connector will always
falls back onto "Analogue Line-in" so I can't use my microphone anymore.
Anybody know how to change this setting manually? Thanks.

I can also confirm this BUG.
In my case the "Output volume" slider doesn't have any effect over output.
Application-specific controls still work fine.

I can confirm this bug,
I was playing around with the sound controls to boost my mic volume, and
now the input connector is not changing from line-in, plus changing the
output connector doesn't do anything.
I have even installed pluseAudio Volume controller, and it did nothing
anything like the s
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
