Well i have not updated this bug for a long time... So Ubuntu 12.04

wifi hotkeys does not wor
philippe-pachot, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from

Hotkey fn+f2 is supposed to toggle wifi on/off. That's the way it was
working on ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04.
I have updated from 11.04 to 11.10. When wifi is toggled on at startup,

Not really working the way it should but already better :
- Fn+F2 : same result as before: on wifi connection and network-manager says
"device not ready". ("périphérique non rpêt" in fnch version i use)

I don't really understand where it comes from, i have just written a
(really dirty) workaround : i have modified /usr/share/acpi-
support/statefuncs, function toggleAllWirelessStates() to unload/load
ath9k module before turning on wireless card. I still don"t understand
while it was working perfect
When i right-click on network applet and click on "activate wireless
netwrk", it works : wireless device is activated and i can connect to
the network. Wireless led is on.
When i use fn+f2, wireless led is on, but in network applet, it says
"device not ready". So i think it is just the action trig
