Thanks for adding the logs. Login for 11.10 is done through LightDM,
Unity provides the GUI. That could be the problem, however a blank
screen/system hang immediately after login is consistent with a GPU
issue in the kernel DRM driver, so I believe this is packaged correctly.

Well, the bug is still there. Maybe it has something to do with the
"unity" interface for logging in ? Because i read somewhere that the
log-in for Ubuntu 11.10 is now through Unity ?

I can't reproduce this on my system sadly. I packaged this as linux, as
most blank screens immediately after login are kernel problems.
