This bug is unrelated to the Enable menu access keys option under
Keyboard Shortcuts and not limited to Unity. When the menu bar is
hidden, the keys are not intercepted. The problem (for me at least) was
that gnome-terminal didn't seem to respect the "Show menubar by default
in new terminals" optio
On Unity, my Alt key combinations are NOT intercepted when the
Edit->Keyboard Shortcuts->Menu Access keys option is unchecked.

When i start gnome-terminal with --hide-menubar, the menu bar still pop ups a
few moments after terminal starts. When i press right click it's showing like
it's not activated. Then if i activate it, and deactivate it again (using the
