Closing bug report. We've since moved to compiling asterisk from source
for all installs. Tends to be easier to install up-to-date drivers that
way. (E.g. beta misdn drivers)

I have a deeper look today, there is *NO* asterisk package that creates
/usr/share/asterisk/agi-bin, and no Asterisk package points the astagirdir in
/var/lib/asterisk.
The only package that provides /usr/share/asterisk/agi-bin in the official
archive is asterisk-app-fax which have correct permi
asterisk.conf:astagidir => /usr/share/asterisk/agi-bin
asterisk.conf.dpkg-old:astagidir => /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin

I think the fold you mean was /usr/share/asterisk/agi-bin ? Could you grep
"agi-bin" in /etc/asterisk ?
