Patch has been in the upstream tracker for some time. I don't see
anything wrong with the patch, nor any comments against it here or
upstream, and it seems like a good idea, so I've gone ahead and
sponsored it for Intrepid.

Since it looks like a menu still double-click feels like it would start
the program.
It's good to know there are several alternatives but a properties button
is most preferable.

But there is a 3rd way: Just double- click on the item.
