indicator-power definitely looks like the culprit in that Stacktrace --
marking as Invalid for Unity and unity (Ubuntu).
FWIW: the indicator-power code in play here was rewritten for 12.04 and
the path shown in the Stacktrace no longer exists. Specifically,
build_menu() no longer calls g_settings_
