It has not reoccurred for quite some time, so I would venture that a patch
somewhere along the line addressed this. Whether it was a patch to Beryl or
Firefox I cannot be sure.

Same thing happened to me when I tried to open a new tab. My current
tabs were Google calendar, Picasa Webalbum.
I'm running version 2.0.0.2 with plugins
