Has this bug been reintroduced?
Similar description happens on natty. The desktop runs as 1280x768 but on full
screening totem it jumps to 1024x768.

Importance:
I can confirm this bug. I have a 1280x1024 LCD monitor, but I set
everything to 1024x768 when using my TV-out. Then when I switch Totem to
full screen the resolution is changed back to 1280x1024, resulting in
not having full screen video on my TV.
Using up to date Feisty Herd 5.

I can also confirm this bug in Herd 4.
My screen is usually at 1024*768 at 85 Hz, but when I switch to
fullscreen in Totem, my screen resizes to 1280*1024 at 60 Hz.
My monitor is a Philips 107 E5 and my video card is Nvidia GeForce4 MX
440 AGP 8x 64 MB.
