Actually I have gotten the issue resolved. Aparrently when using any of the nVidia drivers in 6.10 or higher Ubuntu (not sure which other distros or releases this will affect) you have to add this line to your xorg.conf Option "DynamicTwinView" "False" I do thank you greatly for your help however
