Running Feisty (herd 4?) 20070215 in safe graphics mode on IBM NetVista
8303-SB2 with Hanns.G HC1764 screen, CD live. Display works fine on
boot and normal operation, 1280x1024.
On shutdown or restart screen goes immediately blank. Feisty hasn't
crashed, beca

but I suggest that you update the title to reflect that this bug still
occurs in 7.04 final.

In final version of Feisty Fawn, bug still present as originally written. I
also tried shutdown as well as restart. On shutdown, screen goes completely
black, then after a while the CD drawer opens, wait momentarily, press Enter,
and system does indeed go on to power off.
Net, bug still there.
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. Now that the final version of Feisty Fawn is available we were
wondering if this issue still exists. Thanks in advance.
